Surf City Dreams & The Liberal Cup.

Our short, but restful vacation in Surf City was well worth the hike down the Parkway.
A big thank you to Patty, Ruben and David. We're anxiously awaiting our next beach house visit.

Barnaget Light was a regular stop.
Shirley loves sand.

The clip of Kevin Coakley, above, got me pretty amped.
Had a few great pushes on the plank recently.
More on that later, if I get around to it.

I've been enjoying my summer brews lately. And I had forgotten to share my latest ale experience while Tami and I were visiting my Maine folk back in June. A little late, I know, but worth remembering.
It was a sunday in Gardiner, and none of the local eaterys were open. So we ventured into Hallowell, about 3 miles north, to comb through a few antique stores and try our luck at finding another place to eat. We found The Liberal Cup.
Their food is great, and their beer is top-notch and crafted on the premises. I sampled their cask-conditioned ale, served at room temperature. If I had not been driving...the evening would have been blurry.
Looking forward to another visit as soon as possible.
